CPS-002 version 2.0 is in effect as of today, 01/01/2024. This is an update that aligns the training policy with the amendments made to CPS-001 for GCAP.

Changes of note include:

• Self-monitored training no longer exists in its previous forms. Solo endorsements only exist in conjunction with rating training (i.e. a solo for Oakland Tower while still S1 rated)
  
• All exams are now completion based. After the first attempt, controllers will be shown with the answers they got right and wrong. Controllers must then submit corrections to ta@oakartcc.org (a website feature to ease this process is a work in progress), with references & explanations for any questions they answered incorrectly. Only upon approval of the corrections will the exam be considered complete - if a controller receives a 100% on the first attempt, then they are not required to submit corrections.
• The training flow has been updated to match the new GCAP endorsements (see image below)
